Surah At-Tawba
Chapter 9 · Verse 62 · Revealed in Madinah
يَحْلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ لَكُمْ لِيُرْضُوكُمْ وَٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ أَحَقُّ أَن يُرْضُوهُ إِن كَانُوا۟ مُؤْمِنِينَ
“They swear by Allah to you [Muslims] to satisfy you. But Allah and His Messenger are more worthy for them to satisfy, if they should be believers.”

Qatadah said about Allah's statement,
يَحْلِفُونَ بِاللَّهِ لَكُمْ لِيُرْضُوكُمْ

Commentary
The present verses, like the previous ones, chastise hypocrites for their absurd objections, hostility to the Holy Prophet ﷺ and their feigned professions of Faith on false oaths.
