About

Why myhidayah exists.

myhidayah began with a simple observation: there is an enormous amount of Islamic content online, and almost none of it feels like it was made for the person sitting quietly with something heavy on their heart.

Most Islamic websites are built around information. These are valuable. But they are not designed for the person who types "I feel like I have gone too far to come back" into a search box at midnight.

myhidayah is built for that person.

We believe that Islamic guidance and modern psychological understanding are not in competition. A person struggling with OCD does not need to choose between their faith and their treatment. A person grieving does not need to choose between feeling their loss and trusting Allah. We hold both — always.

The name myhidayah means divine guidance. Every Muslim asks for it seventeen times a day in Surah Al-Fatiha. This platform is an attempt to be a small part of how that guidance reaches people.

Everything on myhidayah is written carefully. Our duas are sourced and graded. Our stories draw only from the Quran and established tafsir. We do not publish something until we are confident it is both Islamically sound and psychologically responsible.

What we believe

Faith and mental health are not opposites

A person can be deeply faithful and also depressed. They can trust Allah completely and also need therapy. We hold both.

Authentic sources, always

Every dua is sourced. Every hadith is graded. Every story draws from the Quran and established tafsir.

Privacy is structural
