Surah Maryam
Chapter 19 · Verse 35 · Revealed in Makkah
مَا كَانَ لِلَّهِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ مِن وَلَدٍۢ ۖ سُبْحَٰنَهُۥٓ ۚ إِذَا قَضَىٰٓ أَمْرًۭا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ
“It is not [befitting] for Allah to take a son; exalted is He! When He decrees an affair, He only says to it, "Be," and it is.”

Allah, the Exalted, says to His Messenger Muhammad ﷺ, `This is the story which We have related to you about `Isa,' upon him be peace.
قَوْلَ الْحَقِّ الَّذِى فِيهِ يَمْتُرُونَ

ذَٰلِكَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ
