Yusuf (AS) was thrown into a well by his own brothers. Sold into slavery. Imprisoned for years for something he did not do.
Yet the Quran tells his story as one of the most beautiful — because every apparent ending was a turning point. Every betrayal was being woven into something greater.
When Yusuf finally stood before his brothers, his response was not vengeance. It was forgiveness. 'No blame will there be upon you today.'
This is what makes his story one of the Quran's most returned-to: it is not a story about suffering. It is a story about what suffering, borne with patience, can become.
