The story
Ibrahim (AS) was thrown into a fire by a king who could not tolerate his message. The fire was made so large that no one could approach it.
The Quran records what Allah said: 'O fire, be coolness and safety upon Ibrahim.' And the fire obeyed.
What is often missed is what happened before the fire. Ibrahim had already been tested many times. The fire was not the first test — it was the culmination of a life lived in consistent surrender.
Ibrahim's courage was not the absence of fear. It was trust in a presence greater than the fire.
