The story
Dawud (AS) was given a voice that moved everything around him. Mountains echoed his glorification of Allah. Birds gathered to join him.
He was also a king, a warrior, and a man who made a serious mistake — and then turned back with such sincerity that Allah described him as one who constantly returns.
His story is a reminder that closeness to Allah does not require perfection. It requires turning back, again and again, with honesty.

ٱصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَٱذْكُرْ عَبْدَنَا دَاوُۥدَ ذَا ٱلْأَيْدِ ۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ
“Be patient over what they say and remember Our servant, David, the possessor of strength; indeed, he was one who repeatedly turned back [to Allah].”
