Khadijah (RA) and the first belief

The story
Khadijah (RA) was already a woman of standing when she first heard of Muhammad ﷺ. A successful businesswoman, respected in Makkah, she had been widowed twice. She employed him to manage a trading journey — and what she observed changed everything.
She was the first to believe. When the Prophet ﷺ returned from the Cave of Hira, shaking, overwhelmed by the first revelation, it was Khadijah who wrapped him in her cloak. It was Khadijah who said: 'By Allah, Allah will never disgrace you. You maintain family ties, you speak truthfully, you bear the burden of others.'
She did not hesitate. She did not ask for time to consider. She believed immediately — and her certainty became the foundation on which the earliest days of Islam were built.
The Prophet ﷺ never forgot her. Years after her death, he would send food to her old friends, and when Aisha (RA) once expressed jealousy, he said: 'She believed in me when no one else did. She accepted me when people rejected me. She helped me with her wealth when people withheld from me.'
