The Six Kalimas

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّٰهِ

Laa ilaaha illallaahu Muhammadur Rasoolullaah

“There is none worthy of worship except Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.”

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ

Ash-hadu al-laa ilaaha illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa rasooluh

“I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, the One alone, without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.”

سُبْحَانَ اللَّٰهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّٰهِ وَلَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّٰهُ وَاللَّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّٰهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ

Subhaanallaahi walhamdu lillaahi wa laa ilaaha illallaahu wallaahu akbar, wa laa hawla wa laa quwwata illaa billaahil 'aliyyil 'azeem

“Glory be to Allah, and all praise is for Allah, and there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest. There is no might nor power except with Allah, the Most High, the Supreme.”

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّٰهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ أَبَدًا أَبَدًا ذُو الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

Laa ilaaha illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu, yuhyee wa yumeetu wa huwa hayyul laa yamootu abadan abadaa, dhul jalaali wal ikraam, biyadihil khayr, wa huwa 'alaa kulli shay'in qadeer

“There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise. He gives life and causes death, and He is Living and does not die, ever. Full of majesty and honour, in His hand is all good, and He has power over all things.”

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّٰهَ رَبِّي مِنْ كُلِّ ذَنْبٍ أَذْنَبْتُهُ عَمَدًا أَوْ خَطَأً سِرًّا أَوْ عَلَانِيَةً وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنَ الذَّنْبِ الَّذِي أَعْلَمُ وَمِنَ الذَّنْبِ الَّذِي لَا أَعْلَمُ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ وَسَتَّارُ الْعُيُوبِ وَغَفَّارُ الذُّنُوبِ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّٰهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ

Astaghfirullaaha rabbee min kulli dhambin adhnabtuhu 'amadan aw khata-an sirran aw 'alaaniyatan, wa atoobu ilayhi minadh dhambil ladhee a'lamu wa minadh dhambil ladhee laa a'lamu, innaka anta 'allaamul ghuyoobi wa sattaarul 'uyoobi wa ghaffaaruz dhunoobi, wa laa hawla wa laa quwwata illaa billaahil 'aliyyil 'azeem

“I seek forgiveness from Allah, my Lord, for every sin I have committed knowingly or unknowingly, secretly or openly, and I turn to Him in repentance from the sin that I know and from the sin that I do not know. Indeed, You are the Knower of the unseen, the Concealer of faults, and the Forgiver of sins. There is no might nor power except with Allah, the Most High, the Supreme.”

اللَّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ أَنْ أُشْرِكَ بِكَ شَيْئًا وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ بِهِ وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا لَا أَعْلَمُ بِهِ تُبْتُ عَنْهُ وَتَبَرَّأْتُ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ وَالشِّرْكِ وَالْكِذْبِ وَالْغِيبَةِ وَالْبِدْعَةِ وَالنَّمِيمَةِ وَالْفَوَاحِشِ وَالْبُهْتَانِ وَالْمَعَاصِي كُلِّهَا وَأَسْلَمْتُ وَآمَنْتُ وَأَقُولُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّٰهِ

Allaahumma innee a'oodhu bika min an ushrika bika shay'an wa ana a'lamu bihi, wa astaghfiruka limaa laa a'lamu bihi, tubtu 'anhu wa tabarra-tu minal kufri wash-shirki wal kidhbi wal gheebati wal bid'ati wan namimati wal fawaahishi wal buhtaani wal ma'aasee kullihaa, wa aslamtu wa aamantu wa aqoolu laa ilaaha illallaahu Muhammadur Rasoolullaah

“O Allah, I seek refuge in You from associating anything with You knowingly, and I seek Your forgiveness for that which I do not know. I repent from it and disown disbelief, polytheism, lying, backbiting, innovation, tale-carrying, immoralities, slander, and all disobedience. I submit, I believe, and I declare: there is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.”
